Garmin GWX 8000 “Stormoptix” Radar System:
This aircraft has received the hardware and software upgrades for Garmin’s most advanced radar system. The upgrade was installed in 2025. The GWX8000 “StormOptix” radar system provides ground clutter suppression, turbulence detection, predictive hail and lightning alerts, and automated volumetric scanning to show radar returns without the need to adjust gain and tilt settings.
